Evidence-Based Treatments for Severe Anxiety

We Treat:

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Panic Disorder

  • Social Anxiety Disorder

Evidence-based treatments for OCD, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder are well-documented and effective.

Exposure based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are useful interventions for all these disorders.

ERP focuses on exposing individuals to the thoughts, images, objects, sensations, and situations that trigger their obsessions or anxiety, while ACT focuses on building willingness to experience distress while acting on what you value most.

Virtual and In-person Treatment of Fears and Phobias

The Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment

Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB's)

The Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment, or (ComB) is used to treat Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB's). ComB involves breaking down these complex behaviors into smaller parts to find targeted supports for each part of the behaviors. Like all CBT therapies, learning is an important part of treatment; we want to make sure you understand the why, as well as the what of these behaviors.
